Senior Java Developer

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Lead solution design discussions, conduct code reviews, and drive performance optimization activities.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical requirements and implementation plans.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to define technical requirements.
• Ensure application scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and establish coding standards, development best practices, and quality guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and production issues.
• Design and implement APIs, middleware integrations, and event-driven solutions.
• Participate in CI/CD implementation and DevOps-driven development practices.
• Support cloud-based deployments and application modernization initiatives.
• Perform database design, SQL query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Hands-on expertise in Java application development and low-latency engineering.
• Practical experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Ability to lead solution design, perform code reviews, and optimize application performance.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions and maintaining enterprise application quality.
• Capability to troubleshoot application, integration, and production issues.
• Experience with API design, middleware integration, event-driven solutions, and database performance optimization.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps-driven development, cloud deployments, and application modernization.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and contribute to Agile software delivery.
