## Role Overview
The Appian Senior Developer will design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using the Appian low-code platform. The role focuses on building scalable, record-centric applications using Appian best practices, translating business requirements into functional and technical solutions, and supporting delivery across development, QA, and production environments.
## Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using the Appian low-code platform.
- Build scalable, record-centric applications using Appian best practices.
- Develop SAIL interfaces, process models, records, reports, and integrations.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions.
- Lead design discussions and perform code reviews.
- Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
- Support deployments across Dev, QA, and Production environments.
- Support UAT, production issues, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance to junior developers and participate in knowledge-sharing activities.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, architects, QA, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders.
- Support release planning, cutover activities, and post-production stabilization.
## What We Are Looking For
- 6-8 years of total experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with the Appian low-code platform.
- Experience developing SAIL interfaces, process models, records, reports, and integrations.
- Experience building scalable, record-centric applications using Appian best practices.
- Experience translating business requirements into functional and technical solutions.
- Experience with code reviews, application performance, security, scalability, deployments, UAT, and production support.
## Preferred & Bonus Experience
- Ability to lead small development teams and own delivery of assigned modules.
- Experience mentoring and coaching junior developers on Appian best practices and design standards.
- Experience coordinating with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and DevOps teams.
- Experience tracking delivery risks, technical dependencies, and solution feasibility.
- Experience supporting SDLC, governance, Appian development standards, release planning, cutover, and post-production stabilization.
