Role Overview
## Role Overview
Lead the architecture, design, development and engineering of enterprise applications built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service and the Power Platform. The role will contribute to core platform engineering initiatives spanning security, resiliency, scalability, observability, product upgrades and data integration with on-premises systems. The Lead Developer will also provide solution-design guidance to business-aligned squads, review code and configurations, build reusable platform capabilities and automate DevOps practices at scale.
## Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to understand requirements, perform analysis and develop project plans.
- Define solution architecture and detailed application designs for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions.
- Build Dynamics 365 functionality iteratively with comprehensive unit and integration testing.
- Integrate external-system data using Azure Service Bus, Azure Data Factory, Azure Logic Apps and data migration capabilities.
- Collaborate with Security, Identity Management, Central Power Engineering, Networking and Exchange/email teams to maintain a stable and sustainable platform.
- Support AI Builder and Copilot Studio integrations with Dynamics.
- Provide solution-design guidance, code and configuration reviews, reusable tools and common functions to business-aligned squads.
- Support release deployments and provide post-production support.
- Contribute to platform engineering initiatives focused on security, resiliency, scalability, observability, upgrades and enterprise data integrations.
## What We Are Looking For
- Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service.
- Strong experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, plugins and related architecture and design practices.
- Experience with Azure services including Azure Data Factory, Service Bus, Azure SQL, Logic Apps and Azure Key Vault.
- Experience with Copilot Studio.
- Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD and C#.NET.
- Experience working with iterative and agile development practices.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capability with mature judgment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and technical teams.
## Preferred & Bonus Experience
- Dynamics, Power Platform or Azure certifications.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture patterns.
- Experience with full lifecycle application testing, including functional, regression, performance and integration testing, as well as delivery management.
- Comfort interacting directly with business users at all levels.
- Experience supporting AI Builder integrations and broader Power Platform engineering initiatives.
